on the bus

Hello Readers, Today I am going to be showing you my show, don't tell writing. We had to show our feelings not tell our feelings. Here is my writing.

My heart was beating so fast that it felt like a cheetah was running inside my chest.  As I jumped from the burning building, I could feel the wind rushing through my hair. My feet landed on a smooth, yellow surface. I realised I was moving down the road on top of a bus! I was trying to balance on the edge so I didn’t fall. My sweaty feet were shaking and my hands were clenched into fists. It felt like crabs were crawling and pinching inside my stomach. My cheeks felt as hot as lava and my mouth was frozen open as wide as an orange.

I could not move.   The  End

The Present

Hi, welcome to my blog. We have been writing about a video we watched called "The Present". This is my

writing below. I hope you like it. Please leave me a comment. Thank you.

Pew pew!!  The boy  is playing  video games.  It was a  normal, dark day.  His mum came home from

work.

“A box. Is it for me? “  asked the boy.

Ding, ding, ding. The phone was ringing. His mum was too busy on the phone to open the box with the boy.

The boy opened the brown box a little bit and the puppy jumped out.  He was a fluffy, soft, golden dog

with a shiny, black nose.

Wow, the boy was excited but then he noticed the puppy only had three legs.

“Yuck” he said in disgust. He thought his Mum was making fun of him. He threw the dog on to the floor.

The cute puppy spotted a red, shiny ball under the TV cabinet. He quickly ran to it but smacked his

head on the cabinet and fell down. He kept going and grabbed it with his mouth and rolled it over to

the boy. The ball stopped at the boy’s feet. He looked down and decided to pick it up. The boy picked

up his crutches and balanced on them. The boy and the dog both limped together and went outside

to play.

I think they will be good friends.
